What is a Cat's Meow® Collectible?
The Cat’s Meow Village® is a company that creates two dimensional replicas of actual buildings and historic landmarks across the United States. The company was founded by Faline Fry Jones in 1982 and is headquartered in Wooster, OH. Each of the wooden replicas goes through a seven-stage production process, which includes cutting, printing, and individual hand finishing.
Casper, their famous black cat trademark, can be found on every piece. The Cat’s Meow line can be found in gift shops across the US selling these reproductions of local and national landmarks.
Now Lockport will have our own Cat’s Meow creations, featuring a series of local landmarks; Lockport Central High School has been chosen as our debut collectible.
This collectible is a beautiful recreation of our High School. On the back of the wooden piece, which is approximately 2 ½ “ high by 8” wide, is a paragraph about the history of the building. This is a truly unique item and only a limited quantity will be produced.
